Long periods of dry storage will impair the sensitivity of the probe. Allowing the probe to dry out can also lead to build-up and clogging of the tip. Storing in <u><a href="https://www.urbanbotaniks.com/product/1160/milwaukee-ma9015-storage-solution-for-ph-orp-electrodes-230ml-raztvor-za-sahranenie-na-ph-senzori.html"><strong>MA9015 Storage Solution</strong></a></u> or pH Calibration Buffers will help address both of these issues. <span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><strong>Do not store in tap water or distilled water!</strong></span> This will impair the sensitivity of the probe. The best way to store the probe is with the probe cap filled with storage solution or calibration buffer and the cap tightened to prevent leakage. It is also recommended that the electrode be stored upright to further reduce the potential for leakage.</li>
