The Bluelab Nutrient Meter is designed for hydroponic crops that require a higher than normal level of EC or CF (electrical conductivity or nutrient solution concentration) during their growing cycle.

It is essential when growing hydroponically to KNOW the strength of your nutrient solution before giving it to your plants. If the conductivity reading is too low, your plants may not be getting enough nutrients. If the reading is too high, your plants may be dehydrating. To take a measurement, simply place the probe in the solution and the reading will be indicated by the flashing lights.
