Golden Detroit is a reliable variety of golden turnip with a fragrant flavor and beautiful, delicious leaves. This variety is gaining popularity among gardeners and culinary enthusiasts for its sweet and milder flavor. The bright orange-yellow color of Golden Detroit adds style and freshness to salads and dishes. After cooking, the roots acquire a golden-yellow hue and literally melt in your mouth. The light green leaves with yellow veins are excellent for salads when young, and with a short heat treatment they are a great substitute for spinach.
