Calibration:

  1. Unscrew the battery compartment cap on the top of the meter and perform the following two-point calibration procedure:
  2. Immerse the electrode in pH 7.01 calibration buffer solution .
  3. Allow the readings to stabilize and using a small screwdriver, turn the calibration trimmer “ 7 ” in the battery compartment until the display shows “ 7.0 ”.
  4. Rinse the electrode with tap water and immerse it in pH 4.01 calibration buffer solution .
  5. Allow the readings to stabilize and using a small screwdriver, turn the calibration trimmer “ 4 ” until the display shows “ 4.0 ”.

Proper maintenance of your probe will give you fast and accurate results for longer. Here are our four top tips.

  1. Always store with a cap filled with buffer or MA9015 storage solution , not water .
  2. Clean your probe regularly by soaking it in MA9016 cleaning solution .
  3. Calibrate after cleaning and/or storage before testing to correct for changes in the pH and EC sensor.
  4. Gently mix the probe into the sample for a faster result.
